I sent an email to CIC buffalo yesterday inquiring about my case and got the reply:* R# @" D0 U5 g- X. Q7 I
& m6 m7 c+ c* D' R1 ]) T"We have requested background information from other government+ H J+ ~" j0 w9 R
offices(s). Unfortunately, we cannot provide a date when the processing5 @% I* x4 w7 U6 h' F/ M6 }
of your application will be complete. We cannot respond to requests for' X& Z9 H$ X# w
the status of your application before this information is received."8 ]+ a' g) _ P# `- g% m, N) J
- s5 s0 J7 o, c' nDoes this mean I am undergoing background check? Is it a normal BC and security background check(SBC)? Anybody has idea about how long it is gonna take? Thank you!
