JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
3 }* Y6 P" G5 X* N6 j& ~. Q
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

6 ?1 ?4 ]% v0 ]9 T8 e+ s% e0 T4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

0 X8 }, L5 ~9 W  @* n8 F9 r) w8 @1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
# o; c+ C$ c  I6 q
+ k% L9 ?8 W" [- r2) Cashier experience.

1 ~- F- k9 j: V. S3 u6 t1 d3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
