JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

) o; b: [6 ?( Y, n DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

4 S; ]* u- }3 ~1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
+ O( q2 ~2 M2 f! Z7 C
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

" j$ I# Q6 c$ h" @1 J; _+ K4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
4 y1 Q% v5 p7 l0 U, }- W* {
. q  N  Q1 y* f- R8 G$ w1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

3 @: V9 D$ e6 R; O) A8 E: I6 ^( H) E4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

% E" n- |8 x1 p; E  O3 f5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
