* g$ i. x8 ?; zJOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
, w( x9 }# G  s9 J8 x  v9 j
: f7 B  j( o$ f4 R4 g7 `2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3 s, c( y8 B7 _  H! X2 [; T4 ], {9 L8 T3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

/ V" O  X7 ^4 b' Q' v4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

8 o7 I9 l5 L1 Y  E- N6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
, T1 @3 e1 O! i, r3 S' C
* [% Y  e8 q4 q7 e2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
2 F, j0 B, d% C* `
4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
