JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

2 O* b/ `, ?: @& v2 \/ K7 a4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
# n0 O) B; a$ Z* m& L& {% }
+ |  d% {: p/ Q1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

! R# s/ l* i; \$ {2) Cashier experience.

, M9 \( d& V0 E+ }8 n) }3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

* e3 R! X" }: K# o6 R: H4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
