there currently is a new java devleoper position avaiable in IBM calgary for maintaining existing system potentially on new projects.
) Z# v; w# u+ o( C& mthe position is a contract position for 3 to 6 month with good potential to extend it.

) b" s: f; h9 Yhere's the short description of the position.
+ s$ o# Q+ H" W5 H: I3 hWork as part of the IBM team supporting our customer. Must be on site. There is no travel money available. 2 to 3 years experience in JAVA, J2EE, XML and DB2.
3 y% [% C/ M, P" l' z0 UNice to have exposure to Main Frame and any financial system
Must be really good in communication within the team and with customer.
4 t7 X) m% L0 v7 I% F1 ]# m$ Jif having experience of level 1/2 support, great.

the key word would be java/j2ee/jsp/struts/commication skill/customer facing/team work/problem solving/troubleshooting/....it's a maintenance position at this time, but have potential working on projects.
the team care about the English skills and communication skills, so it is very important.
