• is fiscally accountable to the Board with all projects and administration of the agency within an approved budget by the Board

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders; T% E0 `; W- j, U; N4 \
• set program priorities and directions

• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

• ensure programs serve to enhance the coping capacities and well-being of people by removing inhumane systems or barriers and to empower people to work on positive changes in themselves and in others

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities
( x g7 @# |; {) a% O2 T9 m• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
, O, V3 z, ^/ P/ L5 ]; F• communicate the value of the organization to the public' Y3 H0 L- ]9 \
• identify community needs and trends
6 X8 v/ Z' E* v r• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
m& m8 q" k/ L1 y u: t• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
" E: y- x; C* s+ M• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.
" v6 @$ m: E8 x• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff

Qualifications; P* ?4 ~+ b6 B' ?* }* O
- University degree in a related field; . M$ e: _% r' \" k$ M
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;5 m. x0 x5 D- D& d5 L
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; 4 J! D$ t6 }3 n6 i: O
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits X4 o1 X* g: f" F8 c6 \
