• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• meet with staff on regular basis

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders# B, Q M" d* p
• set program priorities and directions

$ R! J; i) r, e& m: a. f• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

- s$ r$ V& s7 ?; F' ]0 v• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities

• communicate the value of the organization to the public

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups) l8 z/ t5 u- g! u: [
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
3 O$ X( s% V# S% e+ m) r8 B5 C• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

( u: ~* z9 v* q8 T B9 c+ t- University degree in a related field; # C$ @6 b- g3 z$ u# _# z- M) l1 n
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;: u! x9 g8 f0 R% R- ?4 V) @
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
0 @+ V& s/ m$ a- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization - R6 a2 }) F) M5 `
1 g4 c) D" b& S* v( O6 w4 ~, w' {
Salary- S; m0 F7 x/ R$ f; b' @3 u
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits
