Community Services requires individuals to provide quality customer service to the public at community leisure centres across the City. As a Recreation Facility Attendant you will:. U' r+ R4 n; d! z

Collect fee and admission charges.

Complete daily cash deposits.

Handle customer inquires by phone and in person.

Control admission to various areas of the facility.

Sell sundry items, prepare a daily deposit, keep daily attendance records and enter statistical data.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:; ^/ W$ J' R( n- Z

Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade with emphasis on general office practice or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved school/college.* G) e" k# b0 Q  z4 G, M

Some experience in customer service, cash handling, and computer applications.

Possession of current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required prior to commencement of employment.! m' U$ a0 }9 J, h( {5 U

Assets: Customer service training and familiarity with a variety of computer software programs, including point of sale, registration software and other facility related computerized equipment. In addition, knowledge and experience in the fitness industry.
" K/ Z! B: U% ^0 |Note: A security clearance is a condition of employment. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Security Clearance letter from the Edmonton Police Department.

Up to 30 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday. Early morning, evening and weekends may be required.* _+ p" \( t, @$ n5 Z3 x
Shifts vary based on facility operating hours,
5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

SALARYRANGE:
0 j. A! @+ x1 O/ F21B, Salary Grade: 003, $14.55 - $17.97 (Hourly). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.
