烤蛋糕

• 1/2 cup butter

2 E# [: u, u, A# J0 M6 p• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)

• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

5 v4 F: r2 C& E6 P, \Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
) e/ H0 v# c; d; e+ |1 W( ?$ jTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.
7 h$ d* w1 V9 P0 V5 }( pBake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
