• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder ) _7 ^. N) j1 T9 P4 \) {" T
• 4 eggs, well beaten, M9 |% H0 T4 R" ~' C- f* d! T
PREPARATION:
- @1 r. M: x3 i$ ~! Y- X* p# {Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 6 @ A1 q5 G$ q* _- r" v3 J
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. # S, e# J3 b5 j$ S# l
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

2 B# d }$ b; w+ e6 n; PI normally strictly follow the amount for each ingredient the recipe calls for, except SUGAR( I prefer to cut it to ¾ or 2/3 of the recipe. It is too sweet for some Chinese. But if you like the sweetness of the Cake Mix you got from super market, you can follow the recipe.
