If i bought a house in spring @ 600K from builder, 5% DP, next spring possesion. at the time same house sale @ $400K, will the bank still borrow me $570K?

There is no point to keep the house with 200K lost. I would rather walk away with 30K DP lost and buy a $400K house.

If everything above less then 200K, walk away!
My point is Banks can't keep their money in the BOX, they have to invest their money to somewhere, looks like CIBC got wrong direction. and what are they going to invest their money next year?
