ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
& e) I7 L4 Y0 @" ^' ?4 V) ~strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

0 f( G4 k' K4 SQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
$ [, K% Q6 y; xobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
' R( l+ c  M3 e+ h: efrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
: {2 a0 K7 u) ]2 Icloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
* F, M  m" T' f$ ?: mis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
& k) X. p, M5 g8 fthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

+ ?% s$ |6 h8 y5 i8 cfunding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
