ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the

to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will! F, ~0 ?; L% O- ]. x
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a T1 P2 ^4 Z* x" z3 d6 i
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
3 s" y6 u! L6 Gfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is {$ e& ]* T& ?3 P c1 ]% O$ [
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA" c4 q, j$ ~+ I
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
, g$ I$ e1 |7 ~* E! h- `over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification% s* [( \( R- i. _4 E4 K$ H6 J
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with8 ?0 B5 r5 }: l, a1 p# D
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
% O3 T( E0 H& \4 x# C: O9 K7 ^accurate and complete research records. ) ] [8 E# f4 o; {* ?# [

This position is conditional to a successful application of external$ N8 x8 p" }& P8 c; r: s
funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated6 r4 a2 S, Y( _ |- t- G$ F7 H
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on0 W8 k5 o5 D8 a0 X# m# x' G
