ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
4 i' i5 q# f( r$ f. t: gUniversity of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
& Y4 R7 ^$ Z+ N7 g6 s7 g. ktechnology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
' B8 d9 b& k' Nobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
related field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
5 y8 s! W- T% V, _cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
/ C1 X0 x9 l4 Wover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
) k& @- m! Y3 o0 U. yfunding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
