Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering. & Q0 z& e+ c5 M j* v5 f

/ n h9 H. B) Y& l9 f2 j$ t' [. H- t" |Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.+ D/ N6 R' K% C8 U
7 @0 Y: |& Y" D: _! `+ [6 rPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting. ) B7 e. @+ F ^. ?
