Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

6 Q: j3 n9 }) f$ h1 `4 P) fExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
% g7 r& `& D& e: c+ j: b# H
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

5 m4 a7 i& z5 {- }Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

Ability to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Bachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
