Context: The Edmonton Social Planning Council is a not for profit organization that provides leadership to the community and its organizations in addressing social issues and effecting changes to social policy.

& H/ Z4 J: T3 _3 \, {- VThis position is responsible for: managing/promotion the ESPC Resource Library (including compiling & purchasing resources, retrieving/analyzing reference materials, promoting library materials & services, etc.); consulting with community partners about their social research priorities and needs (helping to inform the creation of new research partnerships and projects).- t; U8 F0 x J
- H# [1 O6 ~- V9 @- ?, f. L9 P0 mPLUS: assisting with ongoing research projects (in particular, data and information retrieval and analysis, and report preparation) and various other responsibilities including, but not limited to, assisting in website maintenance.* R- c0 Y" ~: G0 r) c9 j7 e7 q
4 {7 h( j7 F% C5 }4 B, f! yThe successful applicant will: hold a post secondary degree (or related experience) in the social sciences or a related field; have research & analytical skills/experience; possess excellent written/verbal communication skills; be well organized & have confident computer skills.
