If the engine oil is frozen, what we can do? Can Block Heater works?

I think the engine oil in my car is frozen. I try to boost it with another car and it 's still not working.

我觉得block heater是管打火的，跟机油没关系。
我的车子前天早上打着火后，机油灯一直亮着。

there are a few kinds of BH that help cars start from extreme cold weather,
5 p, ?" h6 [/ Z: f4 n# ybasically ,  BH keep the car warm by heating up the oil pan-which keeps the engine oil from frozen, or by heating up the coolant, and keep the engine block warm.
8 K7 q& |; R$ m7 b+ o) F' wEither way, the engine shall not be frozen with use of BH.

& d, a2 M9 n6 j# N3 i' d) s( E5 z5 EIf you do not have BH on ur car, by using synthetic oil you can also prevent oil frozen from happening.
' A* ]! V) T5 ]% O' P% A/ sA good synthetic oil, 5w20 or 5w 30 , or 3w 20 has a pure point of -30 to -40 degrees.

do you think using a hair dryer may help to warm up a car a little bit?

插电加热3小时，一般可以打着车。如果不行，可能电池电量不行了，应该用别的车BOOST。

, W% H' V- h  k. ?' J& @BLOCK HEATER是通过加热发动机内的冷却液间接加热ENGINE OIL，降低油的粘度；同时使汽油的可燃性提高。
5 M* l0 n, Y9 R, Z9 E$ ?( c5 d, W0 ^, Q
& {+ i( M& t! E* \& x不行用表量量BLOCK HEATER的电阻，应该是50欧姆左右。
