- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly., e2 G1 k0 V$ g5 L6 v; a; `
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker

- post secondary diploma

Job Description
t4 ~4 U% Q: x) z- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community& U' ~: ?4 [9 t f$ k, o { t
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services( P; \' z5 w2 n3 U8 ^' {. {
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services0 u9 S: g9 c0 D0 G. b
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies" X! Q5 A) B* j* G2 Y0 V. f2 J$ K4 j
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members2 R1 [1 j) A! U1 {% E
- update ASSIST website
. e" Z3 c2 G$ a- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre, l+ H( U& }1 G
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services. A2 @2 a" g$ h! V, V
- assist in writing proposal for ISP7 h5 B- p6 R% I8 b; r) J
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time8 v: |! G; C _ y2 o9 P& H, d

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)$ H& Q3 V4 r* {

Qualifications" b2 d6 r6 o9 j) j8 M, t! j# Z
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education - n3 v- }3 |9 M k
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
- v* @1 a7 I) \/ N- experience in community work and immigrant services
