- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker

- post secondary diploma ( M% T& q9 S z, p8 l8 g3 Z m4 [
- customer service and office clerical experiences1 j, {/ C5 V3 P) P
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community/ o/ s0 e# I) U' c
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
1 p7 [$ Y6 L( {# Y4 p3 m/ m6 l, @9 z- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
5 V! |. a5 n* {) ]' w6 z- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
% T; a# l5 n$ b0 L- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members4 |2 R5 J6 z# Q/ V; z
- update ASSIST website
% n3 [7 z9 M7 A9 i- [- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre% q$ J9 M U3 h6 D8 |8 \
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
+ u! E6 U- l3 R! {% _1 P- assist in writing proposal for ISP
5 H5 I0 @8 Y4 X6 o6 [- write quarterly and final reports for ISP1 e- z% x- v3 V+ w; x$ l
- hold regular meetings with ISP team$ |/ S* f% B, B* o1 W# G8 V7 U
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)1 \. G3 Y8 j9 Y, V; C i B9 w6 q

* J4 k% b2 x) g5 q* E3 m- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education + r; K& @/ N! B( D. s) |) Y, @$ {/ u
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills$ x, B" M7 z; X# W$ s4 ^+ n: [
- experience in community work and immigrant services
