The road test will run the full time unless the Examiner feels that your safety, or the safety of others, is at risk.

What do I bring for my road test?

9 h+ u; f/ g6 s- Z( K5 o· You must have your Learner’s licence. If you have a temporary licence (non-photo)
* t0 o; \, P& f, g2 fthen you must also provide acceptable photo ID.' _8 m2 D) O( J
· Wear clothing that is practical for driving and comfort. It should be appropriate for the
2 f7 D& I. S0 M! ~5 T% N2 U5 g# h+ ?weather conditions (in case your vehicle breaks down and you have to wait or walk).- L# k, x1 q! s" `: Z7 C
· Your vehicle must meet all legal requirements (good mechanical condition, valid8 N- Y5 {4 @; H. Z# L
insurance and registration) and have enough fuel for at least one hour of driving.6 U+ y4 m& w; n! |6 E5 o" u
· Payment for the test must be made directly to the Examiner or Registry office.

wipers. The Examiner will provide information before you move the vehicle about the route and the instructions* m N+ P1 }4 {" N/ ~3 a

What do I do when I pass my road test?

Test Permit. This will indicate that you have passed. Take this permit, along with your learner’s licence, to any
% |# e1 n( ~* O0 y) W5 l$ eAlberta Registry Agent to have your licence changed to a Class 5 Probationary Licence. There will be a fee for this i* ]& R. G0 t
service.
