-  arrived in Canada less than three years ago?
-  has taken an English language assessment test?
-  scored at least a Level 3 of the Canadian Language Benchmarks (LINC)?

If the answers are yes, then you are invited to apply to attend our pre-employment program

MAKING CHANGES PROGRAM is a pre-employment, life skill orientation program with an English component.  It is a two week program requiring four days a week or once a week for eight weeks for a total of 48 hours.

THE COURSE OFFERS:

8 W: _( e" [( S, p- PCounseling to help you find what is right for you.
Opportunity to develop your English Language skills.
. l  q& ?. H$ K2 w1 dOpportunities in class to practice difficult situations, e.g. a job interview or proper telephone etiquette.
0 S, {( p/ R% H- E( d" x4 s3 [Information about community agencies and services.
Information about going back to school, returning to work, or changing your job.
7 @% V" s4 L; S4 qContinued support after the course to help you carry out your plan.
