5 X( S* _* h1 l* K* W7 w$ T/ n2 N1 @Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
9 _% E$ \! \* F9 @/ uResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
, [: H# d( y- K8 T2 {# ^Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
# u- a. l2 i% G( F! F2 M; C" rEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
( m7 L6 t! S) j4 T/ z( P; jDevelops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
( V- ^* ]% ^3 wDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
1 g$ X/ B: f% T" E, r. CQualifications
$ j+ G1 e5 P9 g4 gTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
