3 ~6 @% s/ p) u4 }6 s/ `7 GWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
( T. B- f4 n% c( k: VResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
' E) [8 j( Q% W* h1 b4 \Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
- O. R4 c' y, f3 D+ s3 z2 g! ZProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
6 Y6 e) v& W# DEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
) H7 \, j/ ~* }# C" mDesigns, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
9 u* \- g9 Q' o  l  e$ ARecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
- n" b. u1 Y" a7 x, JMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
% N6 i# _( W. E( g6 r: v* qExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
; a' U8 W, a" V( JStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
6 @0 _( ^% J1 D: I/ v5 ^4 kAbility to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
