Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele! B3 `- ~' f2 b, K& ~0 G- z' S% [
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
4 s3 m* x n8 M- [& ? }Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers% O; @ ]. Y' l
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support& Q7 }( a; n3 W, V
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff, r B- k, u. H' ~
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System! n/ c7 x) {5 W6 {1 L( J
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP

Qualifications
) I$ h4 }- S4 h0 ^Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
. q4 V/ k4 p* ORecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
5 C0 B8 M! Z: I Q# U/ g! G. cMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations9 R! f! F s5 e I
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)0 F5 C8 Q) m! O G4 L
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
