- j+ j1 O$ }4 r, N2 X6 eWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
( B4 K' J: x  ?$ s1 ~- T: ?+ K$ fResponsible for specialization in workstation image management
- b! [4 c1 s2 B. W, E9 hResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
$ b7 ]' z: J# L+ w: y9 v9 ZProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
+ N( s2 C% f0 \  R/ @' H. GWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
! T1 r9 M/ O6 i$ ]Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
8 _' V% q) X# N0 AQualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
2 s6 n: U% \! x+ p& t9 A  U8 `Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
1 P4 N: V  Z. B- u" G! [! aStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
9 B1 ~- A: v: c2 w) D" GAbility to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
