Hi, I donate to Chinese Red Cross. Because I heard that If we donate to Canada Red cross, we can get the receipt for tax deduction, but it's very slow, and they will deduct 20% - 30% for their management. So I choose Chinese Red Cross.

I called Chinese Red Cross last time. It's Correct account no, and they will send you the receipt.

You might charge bank fee if you wire transfer. But be sure to mention it's for the China Earthquake, they might waive it for you. Mine was waived because I told them it's for the earthquake.

只是你的数据有些错误。他们没有收那么大比例的手续费。在另外一个帖子里，ELLE 已经解释过了。
& c8 D6 Z+ n( X7 Q: G但重要的是，如果通过加拿大红十字会捐款，政府按1:1配齐，Wild Rose可能有一部分配备金，另外，省政府也有可能加配。

5 m, S( D. \0 [至于到灾民手中的快慢并不重要。红十字会的人解释说，有了灾难，他们的国际救援基金立刻启动。个人和企业捐款再续。我个人认为，救援需要钱，但重建更需要。那么多人失去住所，家园，工作地方，学校，这些都更需要钱。只要我们的捐款最后到了那里就行。

  那我们的捐款到底能不能到灾区那里呢？会不会被拿去用在其他地方了？
