ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of" f, x2 a2 Y4 \- U6 ]
furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to

: W( i: k; p9 [0 Z0 m2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,) p% r* d( t# u7 q$ [7 k# s4 A
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
- B' M( ^0 Y- _5 B" bdrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
9 N$ j) B+ R8 Xspecification and installation.
- _ C& ^% i% t* w Y- m3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning0 t4 s& U8 Y/ `: d
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering4 X U3 X. T; b9 H
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
7 S$ H' g9 g( C) `5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction# I: F8 J4 D+ X- D$ _1 |1 o
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job) ~. @: \: s3 V: M! L* r. V
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect

2 q3 ^4 l; E9 Sassures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes4 k. L! @& r: h" P1 b
and revisions.
; h j/ y& M8 W$ H: v! s" S# c' f8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job& n6 H7 N. d, f2 Y+ b y$ Z7 h
inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.# O1 m; ~7 f( d ^" O* T
9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.

11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:% T' O1 l# A7 y8 a4 u! D
5 `0 j& @5 D$ }8 ZBachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a
$ c A/ R5 X- D8 _- Q5 r# v2 nrelated field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
) ]- D& J& t% Texperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general( \, w# w4 L( \- v9 F5 n6 O4 B
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.

Experience with furniture design and specification software required.
