2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,

drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
* j, k) U H- j% j7 E0 Yspecification and installation.; |& K% e% K- ]
3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning) E3 |# A5 t9 C Q
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

V7 {; R' I! Y# f' I. P+ L' |+ B3 k4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering; [* r+ I6 t& q9 L; ?
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
/ @. P @, W. S4 ~6 d6 Q# w5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction0 @7 s+ X" j* Y D7 l# n/ X( K
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job5 W: d5 l' V8 F+ O7 ^- l
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence4 \$ o2 h0 y& u" J: ?' R, U. B

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect
" |5 m! Z2 e- y1 l, q- p9 T& a7 ]& q& Design (A&D) drawing sets.
/ y4 P: U9 v6 T* a, O9 \7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
! K6 T" k( M& r8 W- }9 o( R- `assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes% \' Q" v8 w9 Z7 ~1 w# s) L
and revisions.
5 V, l* V: y4 J8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job% P7 i- W0 ^ {9 O! }' g) b
inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.( K7 Z6 q) y" S. L7 K. ^& H6 N
9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing., L" |0 m0 Y; x! Q( Z5 {
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications." Q5 X3 \7 p- C! Y

related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
( r3 h8 t5 r. Y/ yexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general
^! W& \, ^$ u% u4 Y a" _, g0 Q: V0 Aknowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
