PURPOSE:

furniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to

2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,

drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for( |7 _( d; m+ u1 k8 j2 b

3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning" p* d5 x' a0 S/ p% c8 q0 B+ m
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

" w. y7 x8 X# E4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering% k {, ?+ x5 t
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
7 d" {, R$ h7 H! n2 \4 F5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
+ P2 v8 a5 ?* @. |" ~# p/ d G) tplans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect
0 J" O; c+ K- Q& Design (A&D) drawing sets.

assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes* O" h3 }. W' `& n

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job

9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a W9 J3 d, c7 _' P
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and! \5 O' R1 t, t u0 i
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general
; B8 @ _, F( \3 N. l; t/ o K/ a+ Kknowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
