EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.4 D3 U' j+ w% l. K
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
9 J' u. g1 h! o# E7 W% IOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.$ d2 R5 d3 c! r) }, J0 @
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
