Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

$ z2 S- y) ]+ JEDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.
+ ?7 a% }' L* R$ @: sPolice said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
, Q- u" G# m* F fOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.
3 n6 W& w# b8 c, r6 ~& fThe male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
