Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.* C* ~! k# k3 X$ z, ^
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
; P2 k% @9 l; y0 XOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.( C. S- f& W" o1 C0 _
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.: _8 a" w* l( A% N& q
