Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

& @1 S$ O* }5 z% hMajor Responsibilities:
. l, |' Z" Z4 R7 s M S; E• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." t- ^3 I% v: x1 ]" W( {
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
5 I, m0 Z7 b' m, }# l T! C7 R• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ) e7 p' V. F5 f% A
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.' ]- Q) W- A' Z+ {9 y4 X N' g; v
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.% ?6 G( P, ?. @% I
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
1 h9 E- E1 P# K' T8 c9 p% G1 c4 B• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.! ] M, P( g2 Y. ^' S
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes." i: J/ d" R2 E/ I6 H2 e& h
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.4 O9 @* c$ C0 H

Qualifications:4 b5 t! S! C) _* h* t4 S' _9 R
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
; x3 |9 B8 x6 a" c" [• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 7 I1 Z0 y; T" b8 H% _9 ~
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ; L+ Z7 n2 N1 t3 b4 G5 P4 ^
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- I9 t W( y* a• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
& X, L3 L* o6 f• Not scared of heights

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
