• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' b+ M2 D- E3 R B$ l/ Y7 ~# [4 w
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.1 G; h7 e' Y* w0 m( _1 {- [
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 7 n4 M7 a- B" r5 g% `: H
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.9 U) ]- O+ }. \/ a& _4 l
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.1 d5 {" h5 z$ c
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.. p8 S0 ~5 v2 @- e1 {& J$ U
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) k. t( M' w a! b
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.2 P3 B5 w' X3 s8 C4 b A
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% W1 I u& K- X% T) h
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
( u( f5 i; P( w8 f+ c0 ^/ S. T' A• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
0 d. Z# A) M4 I• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.& M1 U7 v2 [3 O7 S7 y) J0 S
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.+ a# d0 S$ L0 V& B9 K
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
, P/ W2 I3 M. K1 u ^" |, \ }• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 2 U! ?# x" c5 h, Y4 a" x; w
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential+ P; B- Q/ v# U9 i6 {) N
• Not scared of heights: q( {- n4 L/ A* Q1 i1 _7 V
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
- C5 g/ v; a6 b• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. $ D. H# \- k: d$ @; L- C2 X# ~
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
