Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
4 b4 S" b4 ~& a- I  V•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
; d% v. g/ z( e  O" ^2 I: y! K7 h•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 o1 ~0 l( W9 w# A# Q9 v
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
1 u  h6 L& r5 o: e/ t8 ]•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
# Y, O0 w8 u/ j  h- Y& t" G' K; a•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
- x6 Q% _$ P: {6 P/ ?' r•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.( A9 \* J! z! v# M
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.5 D) ~( j8 Q% I: x1 D- c
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
' ~4 a- I3 i5 Y* h0 _•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.

•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:' p) T5 s: g: l9 Y% d+ n5 n
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. $ ]1 [0 `. b1 b" |$ [
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 T( t0 ^. N/ {  z% |1 ^•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) v4 W4 y6 Y; C' z) k* j& X•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
