Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant0 s# G; T4 w) S4 K* n; w5 B N, D

Reports to: National Sales Manager" Q! ?" y( Y/ e4 o

Major Responsibilities: 8 j4 k8 Z& G5 j: R$ F/ f! z1 O
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
8 G! K# b, D; U$ H) _' P0 G• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. j# T( ]$ N/ f. s, {; h( x
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ) ]% G$ ~" t* Z1 |& e
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

& {2 R4 E8 k0 T4 P7 U, j• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.' C; p. U& g/ Z9 h% f
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
+ ^9 B, W+ C$ A- N% F% d: ~• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.4 @/ u5 F. E( g1 M
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
. @1 F5 e j; d7 L• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.# N7 J- M9 C# t {* B4 w
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.8 Q1 ^% }) e% o4 N
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.) W4 R8 C3 m! L/ f i" u

Qualifications:
" i Z# o$ o! V1 H• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. / a8 L W7 c9 o4 A( J7 I
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
5 w. {6 m9 Z& C! R, m4 r V• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 A. d. `9 y1 }" K) e k
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. " P, F% o5 J) B0 V( W
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other" B/ D' _% Z; o: @; }+ ?# |
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. & S7 V& w* t' u* N3 ~6 Y
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.+ n6 f! o4 w' v: [1 J! v! [
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
