Major Responsibilities:
8 X* `" s6 r0 s5 q: ?  E  M•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& Y& `4 W) t7 g0 @- g
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# Y1 p. r4 S1 \$ L2 Q# w) k•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
- ?+ i' z" ~7 w. A•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
7 K$ d8 a# p: I' s* _/ I: ~•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.5 A; J: r: V) k# X
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
5 k3 }4 B% R4 a: f, r) Y•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas." U, Y1 t. u7 }, |
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
- q4 r6 p+ r' p1 s- `* O( g•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.$ t4 L4 k1 P( F3 w  u2 v7 {
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
; u+ K* F( s+ {5 w•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
8 {7 J5 ?' F) P# N% z6 V! g•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
7 b% z) w& T/ Y+ K% \$ G•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
2 X, e4 U, N3 L# J. t3 `$ P$ B•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
