Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
5 r; T! s3 `4 \8 @/ F: b  h; K) BFull time position (35 hours each week)

/ f9 C! t+ c- G6 M( U" u0 HJob Description – Responsibilities
: V3 L, M) H9 w0 s. z9 l•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
3 @  C  w' i& g# B8 \  l•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
: t9 f! y: T/ S! ]. P: U•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
3 V  a' U+ m' G& D# P# _) G! J•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
) F0 y, q. j1 t, V7 J5 i•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
* o! a# A: ?' k% f•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
6 G7 e' }  q3 X3 x9 Q2 V; H2 s•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
* _& ?$ s4 n3 Y: U: K•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
$ M. X2 K$ ]8 l' `* I0 `4 p•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
