Full time position (35 hours each week)

% g0 D) A$ H) ?, [& hJob Description – Responsibilities
0 s. D* h; u3 H0 |* Z) B•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
1 j* f  O# A/ M9 f•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
2 W* B# B9 Z0 Q# p, T$ ^$ v•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
' T$ S- e0 @8 W•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
. g9 x% b. w$ Y0 d5 {* r•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

! ^9 q0 Q3 ~7 x6 t+ T•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
4 o# F/ X; {$ G1 X7 I; f! [•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

Other
•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
