Full time position (35 hours each week)

9 n1 M' ~& V5 Y1 B8 U* i1 C9 n0 eJob Description – Responsibilities
; @' V0 W) y  H( y•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
9 m2 _; m5 `% S; k1 W•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
) [* g( X1 J8 s# l) s" o•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
! M! o' A& H9 a9 _•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
% i0 a4 T6 H0 {1 q- B•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
/ V2 i1 L: A/ N  A8 `8 j8 I•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
+ j' ~9 L6 @- I9 j; V) [•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
$ F* @+ U! C  I+ y•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
  v3 _( v1 R  S) w. C' @5 n•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
