Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
8 e( O- X3 ~/ a* {•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
) J" V+ t' Q6 V' v•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
: E: l4 N" Q' O. ~) a•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
4 o' G8 }9 x. X% q- Y( w•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
/ l6 J. e5 p( t•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
! x( U% L  ]7 U. Z, _2 t•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
3 [" p. m; t1 R' u. p9 L& h# u•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
: H1 |$ D* f3 l/ j% V" M•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
5 u/ J6 ~7 ?0 E, U/ }! ~•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

2 t/ _! `$ j4 z5 RQualifications
9 C" c2 l9 S) `( w•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
