Position: Youth Services Manager

Job Description – Responsibilities
1 B2 A$ Y' H4 g+ t9 y8 C# i•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
* x# U( f. I9 B$ L3 P% I•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
6 t: U9 v4 [; s- v1 R8 s4 z: W/ {•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
) M! Z, V6 S- j0 x•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
# C# C+ s: ?; Y! I4 C•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
; }, P$ D! q0 S9 Z6 S•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
8 v2 F2 X  Q" o•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

- Y0 A: w  g$ |& j* z5 m  h•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
