The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

4 N. a- N$ z2 x' xDuties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
7 z+ l; x% `& a2 I( c1 l•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
  w& S: O- s6 v$ ], L•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

( p) i5 x) P& y1 w& {9 I" c: E•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
0 J1 N' V0 F( y3 {2 w" d: C, _•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
& v- C% B, L  F, r4 Q•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
3 w+ n% d" s$ U3 W7 @•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
