The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

) _6 b3 y6 O. v+ N1 V; H•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
! u2 i$ v0 L0 p3 {•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

. J$ Y2 l* p6 u/ S* mRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
% W& n! L9 z8 O8 J: |; l•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
, A' g7 Q3 h: Y& _; s& r•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
4 S$ j7 j; b9 d/ ^  M+ Z2 R•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
8 i) H6 s. e0 J, O" Y•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
