Position: Program Coordinator / Terms: full-time position / Salary: competitive & based on experience / Closing Date: open until suitable candidate is found.

Position Abstract: responsible for providing administrative support to the Executive Director and Board of Directors and organizes the Re-Enactments. The Program Coordinator oversees matters related to site maintenance, board, donor and volunteer databases, and administrative duties related to fund-development activities and is an integral part of the Re-enactment Program.+ y6 _" G: v! C
) e! ^2 H$ H4 q; g( o* W$ RKey Tasks: establishing/maintaining relationships with volunteers, police and media; administers all board activities, including Board meetings, AGM, committee meetings, ensures up-to-date policy manuals; manages accounts receivables/payables, payroll & prepares monthly financial statements (knowledge of Simply Accounting an asset).* |3 q4 v6 O7 p/ q; O: `

+ assists with Special Events/fund development activities; coordinates the set-up of shoots including preparation of props, permission to use sites, acquiring needed vehicle, manages volunteer actors; liaises with schools, businesses and community organizations.' e' O5 Y5 h- U" t, o0 [

Essential Qualifications: exceptional organizational/time management skills and the ability to multi-task; must possess excellent verbal/written communication skills; a valid Driver's License & access to a vehicle; proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Simply Accounting and @Ease experience an asset; experience in the non-profit sector preferred. * V( p: u. c+ n& m! f.
