# w5 g% H$ |* hPosition Abstract: The Regional Sustainability Coordinator will be responsible for effectively leading and delivering the AUMA's Municipal Sustainability Planning (MSP) Initiative, Phase 4.

) w( x& c" e# QThe successful candidate will be self-directed and able to work within a collaborative team process, to plan/coordinate the development/delivery of learning resources/events at the local community level within the GAER region. O q' ~: \8 k3 X7 _ t

Knowledge, Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in social sciences, administration or arts with relevant work experience is considered an asset.6 Q) [6 d/ d- i3 i( t j

The ideal candidate will have 1 to 3 years experience in the following areas: community development/community leadership capacity building; development of partnerships between yourself and the local stakeholders; project coordination; knowledge of municipal planning; superior written/oral communication skills; report-writing and evaluation; working with people of all ages and from diverse backgrounds; communications planning and implementation.
