又收到一封NAIT的e-mail,这回心里又没底儿了。

NAIT的program head写信告诉我，鉴于我的背景，认为我从semester 1读，纯属wast of time,建议withdraw semester 1的录取，转而申请semester 3。

# z3 V9 Y) U, Y) U1 S! K; {但是他又同时告诉我，withdraw semester 1,意味着放弃NAIT的录取。而申请semester 3，并不能确保我被录取，要到时候看有没有seats.
' M7 N. h2 q$ K4 J3 o& b$ H
! s) a& Q: _) h: R6 h+ d) r" R, G: R是不是该放弃semester 1的录取，去申请这个没着没落的semester 3?我又没谱了.:(

# t4 u/ M: m! x* L那位朋友有这方面的经验，还望多多指点。

4 P0 }- N; X7 N+ E3 BYou got to balance between spending more time/money and getting the diploma vs. spending less time/money and getting credits only.

Take the semester 1 first. Don’t give up the chance. Then after you arrive and register, apply for the semester 3.

Because I am still in China now and I am not clear the process of the register. Can I appy for the semester 3 after registering semester 1?

- w5 ?  v$ u% S% V# q; yThe Program Head is waiting for my response and letting him know what is my choice:withdrawing the offer and choosing semester 3 or accepting the offer of semester 1. He hope me to contact him someday next month for the news of the seats if I want to get the offer of semester 3.

好象加拿大人都这麽说话, 不过现在刚5月份,申请9月份的应该是没问题,当时我是今年1月份申请9月份DAY-TIME的课程,COURSE-LEADER 也这样给我回信,搞得我紧张半天. 如果你为了保险,最好尽快过来,直接到REGISTRY那儿去改,应为有没有SEATS,REGISTRY那知道,但COURSE LEADER不一定知道.

读SEMESTER 3！不仅省时间，而且省钱。

/ _/ [( A0 T# n% a" ]- H& z" C4 Eprogram head 认为你的背景够资格读semester3 ，他是对你负责，在NAIT，program head 在招生上有很大的权力，即使有些人不符合一定条件，但找program head 面谈，有时可以破格。（比如托福，英语30可以不是MUST的。）当然，按Program head 的话，你符合semester 3的 要求，就看有没有seat了。即使等上一学期，也比学semester 1快。

' ?0 t* p7 F8 [# y) w- @尽快与他谈话（电话）或email他，告诉他你希望尽快学习专业。。尽快申请，你很可能9月可以直接上semester 3.

尽管Program Head asked Admission advisor not to  accept me in semester one and he was not prepared to accept me into semester one too.
He will do his best to work me into the program semester 3 as a special student as circumstances permit.

+ j' k+ @9 K0 S8 s. \' {you will have to let me know before then if there is a spot available for him for the 3rd semester.  Until then, I will leave his acceptance as is.

But I really do not know how to response him.
