The City of Edmonton Bylaw #13145 defines a "restricted dog" as any dog: ( v1 l$ _; Q) |6 l5 Z

That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal causing physical injury and resulting in a conviction under this bylaw 4 o) a! Y1 K7 ?7 e% e# h
That has chased, attacked or bitten any person or animal on more than one occasion, with or without causing physical injury, and resulting in separate convictions under this bylaw
- Q) J# U* c4 x. y8 i* W% M, r9 dThat has been made the subject of an order under the Dangerous Dogs Act
. S) n" g" ?( c) R5 g- Q% @Certified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed Staffordshire Bull Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club
! @8 U! x- `5 z+ C- ?$ p, YCertified by an Alberta licenced veterinarian to be primarily of the breed American Staffordshire Terrier as that breed is defined by the Canadian Kennel Club ! L; G( L* t. W5 c* m
Note: The restricted dog definition does NOT include any dog that is registered, or eligible for registration, with the Canadian Kennel Club as a purebred Staffordshire Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier. |
