上ESL趣事，关于Bullsxxt

今天上课，老师为了举一个例子，大概是表述当地人的口语中时态不是很重要。用到一个词，但他说他不能讲脏话，所以就在白板上写“bulls**t”。他的重点是分析语法，没想到，同学们一下子炸开了锅。有人问：“少的两个字母是啥呀？”，“能不能讲明白点这么说是啥意思？”......
3 `6 x; S% V8 [, g) l/ }我一开始还以为大家在为难老师，可同学们都一脸真诚好学的样子。

老师很是surprise，反问道：“你们难道真没听说过这个词吗？“
同学们再一次诚恳地摇了摇头。老师于是又举了一个例子，说有人如果向你吹牛说在某个小河里钓到一条大鱼，而你不相信，你可以用这个词。
有的同学长长的“哦~~~”了一声，可有的同学还是紧缩眉头，一脸茫然。
0 g$ E( C1 ]8 ?# m1 A老师就说，也许年轻人常用，大家的文化背景也不同，所以不太理解。

老师看我一直没吱声，问我知道吗，我说sure。

有的同学很认真，居然查了字典说：“字典里没有这个词！”
老师再一次清了清喉咙：那你们知道‘bull’的意思吧？后面的词不用我解释了吧？我可不能说呀！

老师依然坚定的没有说出这个词的意思.......这时下课的铃声响了。

我正准备去WC，被一位同学拦住，问这个词咋理解？我只好用中文向他解释了一下（还好是中国同学啊）：大概就是“狗屎，扯淡的意思”。他恍然大悟，“哦，原来是扯淡啊！”
另一位哥伦比亚同学也拉住了我的袖子，“嘿，你拉住我干啥？我要嘘嘘去。” 他偏要我在书上填上了那两个缺掉的字母，才肯放手。一位同学在我填完那两个字母，问什么是‘shit’，为什么是脏话？我只好在他书上画了一小陀‘便便’，他恍然大悟。好在他没有继续问下去，不然画牛我可不专业呀，说不定还得打电话麻烦周正龙。

Bullshit (also bullcrap, bullplop, horseshit, bullbutter) is a common English expletive. It may be shortened to "bull" or the euphemism bs. The term is common in American English.
