1 v# b; l! d9 `# H! pAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. ' y* _) L4 P; u2 P+ H& k5 O( D
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
( ~9 V3 J2 b$ }4 @' bConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. 1 `1 \. Q7 f( G) q3 A# Z: j
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. 3 M- p& e( p7 u7 x
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing. 6 T/ s, z1 v' @0 H& F
Assist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
+ z8 ^* Y8 \4 b9 G! [' ^Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. # C" m( H! B( `, \+ h U$ i
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
6 _) j1 U; O' p; w+ S' r# \Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. + K2 N2 @" D/ c9 {
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
d' f8 o- t8 l2 rResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. 3 _' V7 w/ c" X! a" S4 C' _
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset$ H2 c- T) }5 f; q
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
B9 u4 f. v4 S! E+ z• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.

• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.7 ^% v" g' W, D6 B1 x' g
