This program is designed to provide participants with the skills and

• WHMIS5 r' F n. v: X1 E
• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care
. f6 K- e: H6 Z. @) D+ J: W• Components to improve communication skills
: b2 {! b8 m) C• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search

Eligibility Criteria
1 [" p4 n8 a ~% I) D• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
% c1 o% T8 u7 A, I: Gof Canada* ~+ O! p+ O2 } C# b9 D) z% n
• have a Social Insurance Number
- O9 F# `% P7 T/ _0 E' t• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
9 J$ I+ d3 G& W% g8 G• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent3 m4 I+ T# T" m, S& z& m6 k5 O
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time$ J4 F4 p4 C* z1 h
program
/ d) \1 G* f1 b1 x, j& nParticipants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
* W0 H% e1 g% j4 q8 V! fthe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
( n! H) E4 s/ \# l* m/ r• be unemployed or underemployed.
