what do you think of the MBA program in UA?
* S5 b1 j0 ~  ~  h5 lTaking all around situations into account, I wanna apply for MBA in UA for the Sep, 2010.
& _2 O5 E0 K( h8 _; q) {7 bCan you help me confirm approximately  the total money that I will afford for MBA in UA based on http://www.business.ualberta.ca/mba/Admissions/Costs_Expenses.htm, which depicts that the total tuition for internatonal are $12,029.69 along with the Living Expenses of $2,035 per month.
8 W4 x$ L. c; P* C9 X4 i: RAs for the current approximately exchange of one Canadian dollar vs 5.5 RMB, and the MBA in UA is 16 months.
So I wanna let you the guys in UA or ones living in Edmonton confirm that 300,000 RMB can be very adequatel for me to finish the MBA?
, _' j/ s8 ~, Jand at least how much money I will prepare for the MBA in UA incluing tuition and living expense without considering the Schorship or TA,etc.

The tuition for a Canadian student is $12,029.69 per year.  For an International Student, you should plus International Student Differential Fee $5,985.60,  International MBA Differential Fee $5,505.30. Total tuition for an  International student per year is $23,729.74.

% U; A  a7 L" c  u3 c  t. l8 y' fThe above is based on 15 credits per term, which means the expense $23,729.74 is for 30 credits. If you want to finish the required 57 credits, the tuition should be more than $40,000 for the MBA program.

hey buddy, I do appreciate your response!
but I am eager to bother you for the question I care, which is, in your view,  whether I finish the MBA with 30,000RMB including the living expense.
PS: I can sustain the tougher living conditions and food, and I will endeavor to apply for schorship or TA,etc if there is any for the candidate like me to be eligible to apply for  and take some part-time job if there is any.

楼主说的是英式英语吗？ 感觉有点古文的味道，读起来不太自然啊，加拿大人好像很少这么说，嘻嘻。

& O% A8 b3 O# U6 b2 r30，000RMB 是不可能的，3万加币也不够，MBA的学费数倍于普通学科，还不算国际学生费。还有MBA的学生好像不容易做TA吧，别的基础学科的奖学金好拿，MBA的奖学金不容易吧，有没有都是一回事。
我认为一年所有费用18万人民币是较省的，23万算ok的。

我说的4万加元只是学费，而且是你每门考试都要及格的情况下。考试不及格，重修的话，还要加钱。生活费２万加元，其他开支１万加元，总共准备７万加元吧。没听说过有TA or RA, 奖学金很少，忽略不计。40万人民币差不多。

呵呵是英式英文吗？那我需要改进把，我觉得我还挺美国的呢，主要是我口语基本上美国人一样把，原来还兼职带过课。我也不算大，07年才大学毕业的，市场营销专业，但是基本上进美国这个算500强的公司就是凭借的一口美语和性格把。

7 L! G: S) \' C: n5 g- ^9 D$ ~' n40万是有点多了，想着现在危机汇率低能省点钱，不去Rodman,Ivy,SB等就是因为那学费更贵把。因为我很喜欢交流或者辩论，喜欢说话，所以想读MBA,到明年6月合同到期的时候我就工作三年了，读MBA也是自己的一个目标把，我觉得UA的还蛮OK啊，相对还比较便宜，但是要40万的话，需要慎重了，呵呵不过谢谢你们了。

对了那你说像我这样的还能读什么呢，除了MBA这个高学费的外的加拿大的硕士专业呢？

呵呵不管怎么样我下个月就先把雅思考了，10月把GMAT考了，在大学的时候就考过两次雅思，本来说是要一毕业就来的，但是没工作经验诶，这不一下就快两年了，呵呵。雅思两年，GMAT5年的有效期，所以管用的时间段还都蛮久的。

0 F: B; v$ \% i# f6 ^/ {呵呵真的很想和你们一样哦，去自己奋斗，真的很想和你们一样。其实我性格真的蛮出去的，很多都这样说。
/ K3 E) M& {" U所以当下我要做的就是珍惜每一天，改变自己，机会总是留给有准备的人！

楼主学文学理? 真的不建议你去学MBA, 没用不说,学费太贵. 你要不是管理层,拿着MBA去面试也没用,因为MBA对不是管理层的人一文不值.就好像你不是大学教授便要学个经济博士后一样.

楼主做市场营销的专业很难选啊!

恩你说对了，我看了半年加拿大的大学，好像针对商科的MBA，除了MBA意外，就是MSc了，但是这也蛮少了，刚看了个Manitoba大学有这个，哎其实啊，我也知道，这年头你学啥，到最后找工作看的是：地道的语言，你的整体素质，一定的经验和你的一定的文凭。其实我很想去加拿大，因为哥们在温哥华，但是我要移民去的话基本上太难了，所以就想留学去，但是这专业适合我的真的好少！
! T9 ?( K: X# z" M7 CPS：其实我美语和美国人基本上差的不是很远，希望能和播音员一样呵呵，哎，老远的路，然后在学会法语把，虽然不像法国那么地道的，但是去了魁北克的话，我看那的MacGill或者Concordia学费也不便宜，商科专业也不多。哎我比较不是学计算机的，在我们这个IT公司没啥太大的发展！

对了manitoba估计胡冷把？
! `+ j. n, B2 F) n) M/ A还有如果在那边读研，即使是一年的MBA（比如ivy)毕业后都能工作三年把，然后移民对吗？

well, Immigration after MBA study, emm....   you have lots of staff to deal with.
; s4 ]' i$ U7 Z4 k0 X/ x( _In order to get 3 years open working permit, you have to graduate in Canadian University and be a full time student  of  last 3 years.  same as above, you can have 2 yrs permit if you are full time student for at least 2 years, however less than 2 yrs, you get nothing related to post graduate working permit. therefore, apply this rule to you MBA study, and check out what the hack's going on. good luck

PS:  in order to enroll into a MSc degree, you gonna need a BSc degree, science school will not accept an art student.
and Manitoba is  crazy cold, take care.....
