* T! E' I% K' R+ G3 P    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
# f* m7 q0 M- ^8 U: V& j    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
3 F% P% G4 ~; U: O2 ]    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
6 E6 u3 A! e( s# G5 N本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。
7 ?( W# f1 j; z, X& l2 ^+ @1 z# g
; I5 q/ Q$ U: F
" a% ]9 E( o( O$ {; p% V9 q9 E- L$ W好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
: o3 g6 \7 ~2 F: gwage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
