+ T1 F" {; H  |$ P% N8 T7 Z# ]. M    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
0 a: P7 ^1 J& Z3 q* Z    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

0 _  z) I2 k+ i6 r% E) g本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

: V5 ~  Q9 u5 X$ @* v好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
: g& V& T0 y2 O4 c6 ^. r7 W3 ~wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

7 Q1 Y1 ?# t) @$ c" O6 t8 X+ A! Bti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
