/ `- q) N+ l2 @    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
6 @+ B6 A* F( Y" s3 F% w7 w    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
$ q" D+ n7 E; a) T' t) q. v" W. K    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs
$ R3 k, s: e* b, f/ E    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
7 m# q8 h4 v; z' l本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。


  h( t  k; r) u好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
' p9 Z' N" e+ _1 @Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.
