Responsibilities:
-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
$ W/ }0 `) A+ z+ C       (ages 6 to 15)
7 j  h5 S$ t: N9 k1 m+ k-        Recruit children for summer programs
3 E7 R9 d) y1 z+ m+ g' P" V-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
-        Record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
4 o7 Y' n  }: k$ Q2 X& ^-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

1 u; f) w+ R2 pQualifications:
/ ~% N! T, J/ G8 B% {- S0 L-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
: t, i6 n: d  u-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* M( U4 B, V( ?# r-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
, H8 [5 ?( |+ t3 A/ t# Y' ?# Y) D1 K-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

4 e( s; z/ J' K' F0 v; M3 ^-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

-        $15 per hour
