-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
" C: I) ^6 J; x2 u2 \+ h       (ages 6 to 15)
-        Recruit children for summer programs
-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
1 r0 k( L' o  @5 @-        Record keeping
-        Provide orientation for parents
! M( s! Q* P/ `$ k( f-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
* Q; e5 C% D  Z+ n/ B4 Y-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
9 |$ u& l* y+ Y- H( r$ E-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
2 A; [8 p# o7 _-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
  e6 M, A" d, e/ c-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
$ S. r+ `" h! y4 c6 X# }: _% T  \-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
% M1 S  a* F3 x" _8 Z-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

# Q5 N% {- d& R# i7 u% d-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
( [) j0 M% h* i5 F) `- u        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
/ f6 B* H' O( t  W-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
# N0 G1 W1 O8 k5 r" O-        $15 per hour
