Summer Job Opportunity for Children’s Summer Program Coordinator, 2009 Q' [9 n$ s) ^% F& I

- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
" C: I) ^6 J; x2 u2 \+ h (ages 6 to 15) * P. K" w! R0 w! U* f! ~$ m5 l
- Recruit children for summer programs0 `: b; d$ A- L9 A R _8 F
- Recruit volunteers for summer programs
1 r0 k( L' o @5 @- Record keeping4 J. q: k+ n6 q1 D9 W$ E
- Provide orientation for parents
! M( s! Q* P/ `$ k( f- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency( U7 _: Y3 \1 I# P k2 G8 E
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
* Q; e5 C% D Z+ n/ B4 Y- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education* m* `' W3 U/ f5 k$ A1 H* H. F
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
9 |$ u& l* y+ Y- H( r$ E- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills0 {+ b- W. j3 |" b
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
2 A; [8 p# o7 _- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese$ G7 e' B7 Y1 U4 Y- B) V5 W5 k `
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
e6 M, A" d, e/ c- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

# Q5 N% {- d& R# i7 u% d- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)
