Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
* y. C* C1 ]+ |3 @3 X  R# i( f        preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
( x6 n5 I: J. d; C) }        Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
+ f& f+ k5 d+ O% l! s% l-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
0 ]1 n2 d1 |* P' C1 [( {/ ~4 j        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
) |5 E2 i% c( O- g, T" t9 a- T- I-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
; O: K$ a; d( ^4 f5 P6 }-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
, X" E) j! k# G3 T1 q7 F-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
: H% M) b6 E7 N! G' L7 s-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
/ J/ P8 |8 l: i0 h% x-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
