Position title: Community Development Worker

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population o* l d* L* e: R
access to mainstream services
6 }+ W4 B: x3 I9 P3 w- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
) v) M$ w; F! u/ j# K social services
% F& i. [/ a) p* l7 y+ Q- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies2 B Q* t2 X( u5 G$ N6 D
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members: K2 V0 c$ n8 w( `* S" Y
- update ASSIST website

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

, j. V0 f8 D( k: V5 A5 n @9 z- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
" H! M. J! `2 H$ y- experience in community work and immigrant services+ X" a* \1 t- v+ `. j! r
- experience in website update/design1 L5 ~! O3 a. L6 A7 R6 I% D
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset- _% x: ~/ T; @* O
! z3 _9 P! g: p+ K n* G
