Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
) `6 V  R8 g/ _. I% A. kResponsibilities:
7 j9 V% {) g- C/ T7 R9 b: X- Organize focus group(s)
. I) f7 Y, G+ r1 K  Y2 g  G% r- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
; f+ g4 q8 w  G1 G: ?- Provide orientation for parents
' w# h: B/ b+ g- k! U- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
( d1 T8 v9 [2 ~: k5 a% j* Z$ o- Prepare final report for funding agency
) z6 P: N/ N/ `: s! e2 d
* L2 _3 i9 m0 N/ F7 n+ P+ HQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
4 H- T, o' b* `  `1 u. h3 [% o/ Z- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
( Z! k. [  a0 W3 o) q+ ^- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
' p8 F9 H& O2 F! P) `5 X- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
