Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
- X; J" A) m. Z To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
; A6 E+ m/ `: y To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
7 e) T) d; Q  B* y- t' o: I To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
8 [6 e  g: N* ~ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
4 y% c9 @0 B* T+ l* X; V To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
9 V0 K5 v5 r/ H3 I  G 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
2 `- g3 w: i/ |, t5 `3 l1 f. z Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
& R+ }3 g" d* a2 h2 D/ g
