Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
0 Z* F0 B/ |& k! g To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
8 T$ c* T2 v" P, ]9 D+ \+ K, ~2 | To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
' `1 w* |3 S3 ~! |7 R' e( w- e* g To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
7 Q7 o$ e) E2 R' E8 y& f To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
5 ?+ e0 h0 x; X+ a! X( Y- _- e5 A To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
9 W. |- A0 q) D+ D+ B4 M: O5 Z To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

8 U% U7 ]$ A( lQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
% {7 [8 S( q5 ~ 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
3 t9 B- `; G1 [. J  ]  Y Current CPR and First Aid certifications
6 S- s; u$ x( d2 y. L Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
