Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

8 D$ d  B2 ]) q" E# l9 sKey Responsibilities:
% Q8 I) R( u1 [8 p To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
. N; x! B0 l6 H+ G To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
6 t8 q) m% x+ D' [* Z6 @ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
# n! b' ^; n4 F" c9 P% e3 N0 c To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
! P/ u5 G! ]4 V% H8 s To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

& J3 s  Y) e2 L% k3 mQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
5 M+ j/ y3 t$ l: P# P. |, a 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
, X" X+ f* N7 f4 z Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
