The remains of a man reported missing in early March were found in a wooded area near a golf course in the city's northwest yesterday afternoon.9 a! x; W% t! ^0 p

Police said the remains, discovered near 137 Avenue and 170 Street, have been identified as 54-year-old Robert Stauffer. His death is not considered suspicious.

7 X7 d6 d4 q" z4 c8 O% hStauffer had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 24 after he attended a medical appointment. As this was not the first time he lost contact with his family, they did not report him missing until March 6.% @) M# C- B# _, d) R/ W3 p7 R
