The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.0 w7 H- x8 b) g$ n8 J7 _) h

) n2 \7 Y/ _4 o3 qJob Duties/Responsibilities:
8 H% ^; Z+ T$ F•        Human Resources Management# Q+ z  ]9 }7 ]/ }8 K
•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
" g( _% L6 @6 X7 g: @- i5 r6 |•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
4 T; T$ e; Q) o% ]•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
. S  t. ?, M1 x: e! m# n& _+ l1 |1 c•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services$ U$ T' G* ]1 e
•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities1 q- `8 h  V; A4 B2 s+ q/ K

Program Delivery
" {9 Z  w8 `8 T•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program " O) ?( `% [5 Z) C8 s
•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes& S3 t5 W; }/ i+ G7 S
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
  l, c$ O" M2 L& [3 [0 s/ t  z: J•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication( L3 ]& |5 i8 Q  |- }
•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested
" ~9 B3 M# A/ j$ F# d' M: Y•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department% v6 o( a/ m8 i- m5 Z( [# R6 p& ?
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
9 t  [. E' Z6 J, o•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review( E- {* W3 D7 R
•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

8 o8 ~: D) C, X7 s0 g, {0 C9 B* Z* [Qualifications:
: w$ a& B2 s% ^. U# h4 Y$ L8 |1 B+ M1 g- q
•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
1 X# x3 u' k& i  {2 V•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities5 g5 O! l; v3 m; a4 {5 l1 F- I" _
•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience# i, {0 K* N& t
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
1 [+ n1 L, v, \•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population8 y1 H: {4 ?6 N  K
•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
