The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management
+ r7 Z3 b: ~1 O& Y4 }" s• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
8 ^' Y' H6 `7 h5 ~' z9 S• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
: u* r6 `" D _- k! X9 e/ Y0 Y& c• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
( T( Z% S2 [3 i( ~• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
- i7 H1 r- O" C, X0 J• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

2 w I8 ?* r+ B8 F/ ]; Y+ a! `( L5 L• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
0 y% Z4 S. i9 Y5 R8 d0 P• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes2 ]2 {* b' W5 _9 ?- B. G
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required3 k. x/ ? I0 m) I+ I
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
+ n9 `7 q" t" @( j1 p• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
. o6 K9 v- W6 V+ H; z4 {• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
' g. o/ t2 U$ @• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
7 ~3 Z, w! z s, }! R! i( E6 c: m9 g• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director7 O h+ E1 _8 x/ j- U E3 `2 R
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review; t3 `% l0 r6 E7 G# m5 Q0 A& \
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:
/ Q; l# Q c, p- ?2 u U' x# i2 o
/ {" B) j6 A4 F1 ^: G. k. R' b• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
# }, J, r" N! @7 U• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
4 B) {& |# |& n6 \• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
4 W1 {+ R/ d+ S2 @4 }2 B3 I• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
/ C; V- O" J5 d! w: Y5 K• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population/ j f* {! b9 r/ \2 R2 ]
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office, r& b. v! }4 K( n5 P7 P$ X" A
