The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

7 F; v- n4 K: t( QThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.% v* R: }2 _% A; ]. t6 c2 c3 |# q3 a1 t

Job Duties/Responsibilities:+ B( w. R4 u/ L- q+ | }2 K3 c
• Human Resources Management1 d" D: \: W+ o, x, c4 G/ G+ z
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities 9 z; i# w: P7 s R8 c/ R' x# z
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
. ^ x% R% j1 @• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities* ]" _* V5 ~) }
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services. B7 X2 C6 U3 O$ _2 N5 B
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

; Z' F+ @) q" ]! q8 [, u" Y- d$ K. e• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program . s. C, p9 [ O) d [( c$ n/ }
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes8 E- k* [: s" h1 i
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
) T; N; d. H2 |5 G. R• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
' |" O7 \8 o4 J7 {. n, P• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
) c# t J6 k. T& u# [3 k: `8 d• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department

• Implement service modification, as required& s n! Z) N/ |/ t) E; Z3 p

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
2 Y& x5 N% I- o• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review- o0 Z' ^! F& p P$ v6 A
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

Qualifications:

! R [- W9 B) o0 y• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field: t* T9 Z/ e$ a/ a* }3 D( v' ~
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities2 x! J' \; i& I: f* A
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
% ?: f8 i5 x0 ^% v2 {• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
/ d. B- y- \- E5 z* p, W. h• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
