Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
  C  w8 n4 y( n$ g. {% r To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
2 }/ a+ T0 h6 {0 l+ T* w% W' O- { To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
/ z9 ~: \8 w4 f0 _ To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
. @; W7 ?3 J& A3 {4 T" S: l- A9 ^ To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
  L# i4 {: {: d6 W% m& A) d% z4 | To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

& P* Q4 J6 k3 \Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
/ b+ a% i- x$ B7 T) Q/ ` Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
