Housing Program Worker

# n( R3 n+ J( p% C. sKey Responsibilities:
2 k* I% U. i: W' E+ {& g To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
# H3 Y, A. O4 Y4 T# d To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
7 l5 P; J9 y& s; a To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
9 x4 [, ]" J! q5 {' V( l To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
! W) T! |$ C( B To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
5 f4 r2 m' D6 Y1 b To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
" p" t5 E  `0 i; S# n* S5 H$ @ To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

' j( h4 a' b3 m) H4 E1 v. G, y7 J8 aQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
5 `7 Q; o3 d0 J3 L# B 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
  `# }( e, i% h+ @. W& N Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
, ~0 f1 u% o1 ^% l1 q( Y" c( X Current CPR and First Aid certifications
: m" z+ z, y" y- R Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
