Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
7 R$ `) `% r8 m* G+ A- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
& r! l& ]$ c* ?) b1 M4 ^- Provide orientation for parents
5 H5 J/ F0 B4 Q- Find sponsors to enhance program
+ r: U! x) m6 @& K! J/ ]: r- Supervise volunteer(s)
2 ~7 b$ N8 V4 T; f  P- Prepare final report for funding agency

3 V1 r. U( R0 |! IQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
3 ~2 X6 n( I& o0 R  |; F- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
/ x( \. `7 t+ ^- X& x  S" P- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
. }# S& ?8 G/ f/ R, Q- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
5 Z& g- j% c' t. @4 i' t( ]- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
