2 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Students
3 z! @5 j$ s2 e9 R- ]( R: X) H0 i* w4 c- f(10 week @ 35 hours a week contract. Must be returning to school)

Activity Planning and Daily Activity
' x7 Y/ ]4 H) P2 e* y• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
X3 Q9 U. E+ `! E• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
$ d4 F0 w7 a8 Y9 t• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
/ R6 j2 B& ^1 u! h• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
9 K& R) a6 N' }, V. w) B* e8 {6 V• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
7 _1 D& F% W, \" p2 B• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

0 J, L' {9 L6 X6 TThe successful candidate will have: D* f4 R: M% T7 T# B1 L
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
- A( n7 a$ _8 M• Experience with children' j% e0 v$ x0 l0 d' L3 N
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth ! a7 H0 S O7 p
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
/ P% B3 _& h4 a- v/ N* W7 R• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.% z4 C% G4 l7 d2 @, z* Z8 k$ a. x
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources3 g4 r9 ~* _1 M. a" J8 w a1 O* b
• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check 1 o/ \: x B2 J* l
• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check ) u W' L8 A. s
