2 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Students

Key Responsibilities Include
- n) n: O3 k% X& f4 k; UActivity Planning and Daily Activity1 A& ~$ J; h$ w+ M6 `4 l- `
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.3 N6 L) M) g( h# S: _
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
3 ?4 L& {2 Z( L% c2 e* W• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
% O# \2 `' C' R6 A- M5 u4 E• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
, z8 k% P2 M( G6 N$ Y; o• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
7 b: K q: Y; n• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.6 L0 W* _# {1 I" J! P

• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting6 l! @5 g6 z6 M
• Experience with children
0 G+ A6 K, P# d: m9 T9 T4 R9 e( r• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
) v# @; s0 @- Z4 v' v9 u. R- i2 |4 {• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring./ @4 K$ N% `; B5 S* r
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.$ o$ [5 X& Y+ e3 \
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
" e' k; K/ l# |1 B% ?0 A. T• A clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check * i* W# P5 D: o( L# _. M4 ]+ E
• A clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
