4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Activity Planning and Daily Activity
: q! F e* h" I/ w2 Y5 i" p& z" K% F; O• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.
' d. j# r0 j! E• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
; I) F" W" o* d4 R6 ]• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, 0 C1 i* c( _/ m B3 `3 I' W' v% }
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.4 }/ B9 l1 T& y% v" ^1 r' L4 V
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.4 @( b# r2 x' u# w a3 \" t
• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
8 l3 x4 I u; _6 C# j• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
% X8 x; e2 o' F0 L' G• Experience with children7 n) T7 Z) ]8 y1 j- |* k6 l) I
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
8 n/ {6 f3 s. l7 l. z8 f• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
# l+ I% h X/ `) l t% L A• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
* y$ t. z; r$ j8 c6 Y( r2 i7 `- F0 Q5 l8 Q• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
9 u0 p5 x. X/ H/ g% L• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check ( B8 v: R. y: M; \& v
• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
