Key Responsibilities Include: D v, k0 D' j+ }7 @
Activity Planning and Daily Activity
: A# x; v& }2 K- y8 i8 a• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.0 m' m, X- ^, F; q, U) |2 ?
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. 8 I: q1 ^* U$ E1 i8 ~% H; w
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, # H5 }! Z( _/ {7 E" f) s
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants., d- W E3 R4 e
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
3 R" [+ j5 d7 {' L. |% f! R W+ Q• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

# I( t1 |$ I. a; V; k• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
( N& M7 N. t7 Q1 u, C3 \• Experience with children y4 z: M: i% X, l) z) J4 o
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth + u' e" s$ j A; q) [
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.7 D0 N4 i! I0 D: I8 P2 L) s. H
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.1 Z9 {. C) z3 H7 M5 K
• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources7 e; ^: Q' d9 K. v
• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
3 P5 R& D3 q/ P, U! H( K$ g) @• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check
