A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. Reception

• Answer multi line telephone system" ^# [ x) a0 X, o7 e" p9 l2 Z
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries& n+ `: J7 ~3 P" M% ?6 v$ }
• Arrange courier services for all departments
& }) m$ ~: } v. x* l: G( Z: g/ X6 U2 y• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers4 X, T0 G2 a- w( |, w3 ~; j0 m

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
5 U4 B' M) j: J* k+ r• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
) q& E( q+ h% m# C; R• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
. e8 d# `" M& X- Q• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration0 r. H! k* V, J p: u6 _0 P8 o2 K; g
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers * w4 j5 ?* i+ v5 D$ `- O
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution$ s J, }5 V" V# u) Q. o
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments 7 |+ A5 Q# d% |# S |. h4 H
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training; f( P' Y: [# g! W6 j6 B
• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures1 b+ D- I; a/ g+ K) J
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
