The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. Reception

• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries9 M: G( D2 M6 [
• Arrange courier services for all departments

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail c) @5 q& Y& u: K! [
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
. Q, c/ F3 k8 H& d" O• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency
" ` `$ B8 _( u8 d* k• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration' W& b% m5 \, D9 L+ M$ K
• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers . E, z/ \5 Q* v# ]2 C- H
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution o v/ X8 m7 ~/ p& b8 w( W- Y7 E
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments & O* Z) k) [$ R8 @7 z3 G! `7 K. s6 G; [
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested; Y, d" B9 ]- J7 h( h; n5 b! D5 w

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
1 r5 n3 r' a# |; M0 \1 \2 n• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
; |8 t' }2 m4 f! t+ ?' j• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset- N1 M% M7 ~+ u6 t. [
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
