A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.0 A# R( E2 O7 \6 q- J. O

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors

• Arrange courier services for all departments7 }2 G* t9 _3 Y
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail V% \4 V5 }5 E, \" H! P) j/ B# w
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries A, `: Q9 u; L3 b8 c: H
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency ; W: `/ Y4 R/ g3 N; {4 h
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration

• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution

8 O* [1 X# L& |9 h, v• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
) |. h5 z6 |* g9 \• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.# n# L; L1 S7 ]" N4 A
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
