A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors- O0 T( U, @/ @; b3 u5 x
• Answer multi line telephone system; \9 _: V l6 F7 T: o, H# m
• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
+ R5 u+ \- E. w. Q• Arrange courier services for all departments2 M7 A z+ T/ R$ Z1 h; T" z
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail

• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency

• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers ! C8 h0 ?1 C& b* d
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution) i" X3 S: P+ T- |% f5 Z; f0 K
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments , r. I4 ]$ d2 r9 J+ i* `
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested% r8 v- Q! ]7 P, Q

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training

Qualifications:* J2 Q" c4 z+ [, w# P) D
) j6 r) V9 {" l0 ^ T3 p3 X& ~" w
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
- O U' n' ]) N' @2 H5 X" ]+ I• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.; Z4 ~5 h0 f- U# D K
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset: {- p8 D" u! z: @) N9 g8 l0 I
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
