Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential
0 S: d' ^1 c: z3 sskills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
' y- d( L/ s: eprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work) d7 f$ t7 a3 ]$ L4 U
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
: P& w( g: {3 K/ L" @3 }warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food3 B, g/ D3 _" P! V8 e/ @
services and others.

, H! N; H9 Z% G) fCandidate Profile:+ `' w* D `4 b( x; f
. G: ?3 P' ^9 Q& n" NCandidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian
; r: O' b: \" q$ @3 Hcitizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
1 |7 I, J8 E( A- S* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
, ~* V. q/ F: D$ w* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-

* Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed

high-demand occupations

* Get First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certificates
