1. If you have to know the reason I said the door jamb and coner backing was not done properly. Go check 9.23.10.5. and 9.23.10.6 in ABC.

2. Sorry about not understanding the framer's design about using a sliding door instead of a bi-fold clothset door. door trim might not be a must here, but what if the owner or the next owner wants to add a door trim? anyway, an clothset door still consider as an "opening", refer to answe 1.

( N+ b+ T: T: D- {1 v# BFor your information: ABC- Alberta Building Coda, building regulation By-law, It's Law, not just a book. Also, not that I have seen how other framers did it, I did it with my own hands. And there's no way a single stud jamb can be stronger than a double one. Therefore, I still insist the framing I saw was unprofessional.' W4 ]6 X# |% ]4 @9 Q: }* ?
- P5 M8 q% J5 XFrom your expression, I found out you have no knowledge about what an architectural technologist does, so I can understand why you wouldn't agree with me. Anyway, I did not plan to ruin the post, but I don't see why I can't point out the mistakes I saw. I would be happy to answer all you questions, but I decide not to waste too much time to argure with a mad dog. So if you want to keep barking, be my guest. |
