Temporary to permanent position
International oil & gas company
( T- z. J; ~6 F. S$ y/ PSouth side of Edmonton

As a Drill Bit Repair Technician your duties would include:
% l: V! `3 _/ F& @% n6 ]% ]3 ~- I*Setting up and operating machines and tools for drill bit repair
1 l; ?; Q1 `; |- m6 Y# s$ b0 s*Read and interrupt blueprints to build and repair according to product specifications
7 A6 ~) N. O6 n2 x" K+ @# Q0 }*Cleaning, quality inspecting, painting, pricing and shipping drill bits
7 p8 r- Z1 ^' ]& j) N! q% K& u*Practicing total quality management and safety processes
*Driving 3/4 tonne truck for hot-shot deliveries (minimal aspect of position)

Requirements:
*Minimum Grade 12 or G.E.D. equivalent

9 N& s9 e; u3 Q*PC literate in Windows 95/98 and Microsoft Office 97
+ k6 a( @! [+ Z$ P# E, z' B5 p*Proven team player with a positive attitude
- i. q( f# [# r* V- l$ I- o*Motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
0 i4 R1 M) b" d% P* ?7 i# S- U*Machining and welding experience an asset
*Knowledge of drilling operations an asset
