We are seeking an organized self starter to support plant and field maintenance for assigned production equipment. Work shifts available are a 5-2 or 4-3 rotation (depending on the individual's preference). On-call duties are covered on a rotational basis.

9 f! F0 ~1 c, s# T% `: ]3 D' ]Job Duties / Responsibilities
' Z( [; K' n+ Q3 w- C9 q5 v• Perform routine day to day and emergency maintenance activities on electrical equipment;
• Provide troubleshooting and problem solving support on equipment in a timely manner;
• Work individually or together with other skilled trades on planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs;
• Work with engineering and construction groups on the design, construction, and commissioning phases of new projects;
• Assist in the planning, execution, and start up phases of area turnaround activities;
5 E3 q3 q" v" I) y& Y. i• Assist with the development of short and long term maintenance strategies and plans;
0 C7 n& r4 W2 F8 `- }! A6 L! m! d• Strive to keep current on emerging technologies;
; J1 y1 ?: H, _5 P6 u. f6 x. N' p• Ensure all electrical drawings are kept up to date, reflecting changes made in the field;
• Ensure strong commitment to safety and environment on all work performed;
3 W9 q3 R( d; D• Ensure industry and corporate standards are followed on all installations;
• Participate in the Process Safety Management programs in the areas of HAZOP, Equipment Integrity, Risk Management, Operating Procedures, Management of Change, and Incident Investigation;
• Assist with Contractor management and supervision as required.


Education / Experience
5 y9 Y) C, v+ E9 P4 z1 V! i; v• Minimum of 5 years oil and gas electrical maintenance experience;
" S. Y; b4 V7 R0 p, F; a% k• Journeyman Electrical Tradesperson certification;
• Dedicated team player;
• Strong problem solving skills;
% s5 a% c/ _5 d  w' G* k" ?2 s• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
• Good PC knowledge.

. K; v- ^& p/ _5 G' ]$ g我在国内的工厂里做了十几年的电气工程师，在大学读的是电机专业。（哈尔滨电工学院电机专业，79届）。2006年8月份考了个电工证。在多伦多的一家工厂做了一年半的设备维护工作。去年8月至今，在Edmonton西边的一家工厂做电工。
