Job Duties / Responsibilities
• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.
• Ensures that health and safety standards are achieved and maintained by the warehouse team.
• Is participating member of the Material Management/Warehouse Team that receives an

. n  R0 j( I! \9 b: f0 c• Ensures that the right goods, in right quantities, in the right condition, are delivered to the right

& H: }3 K2 x' E/ N0 C• Preserves materials.
4 r! G0 C0 m, u$ `/ o* v$ G• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
( J" F1 z  S& P. e; l' B• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
9 X; o. `& J' N) W  T• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
) B9 Z. ~  t: r3 v$ A+ u+ u• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
! {( p4 g9 m; X6 e% H# @, r0 U4 f• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
! b" w$ B, B) J• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
, `2 Y7 m" I3 F5 p% W; X$ J( D• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
/ Y! _, j3 s# Y" v3 Y• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
" r/ J! W8 x0 ^9 c6 C• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
) J3 M+ ^0 h; x# s+ X. [" H) M• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
3 B& ?) T6 U. a5 z  D* u. j• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
. L0 u! r) N) t• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for
resolution.
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
- t2 {; z- ]* c( A/ P• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
* |; o% V, g! T6 _5 e: J/ Q+ l9 {• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
+ E0 `0 o/ S& P; ?0 [• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
- x9 r% w1 E1 \; a( A3 Q& R8 ?: d• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
; i9 }" w. D9 T( H" i, l5 @; a• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
/ z, }$ S3 h0 Q" F% ^• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

2 ]$ b+ @( Q+ i1 pEducation / Experience
• Grade 12 / GED.
9 I* a6 T9 N5 \' f6 A• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
4 }: Z( r. r* }8 M5 `• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
1 x2 I/ e7 X  Y• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
