Job Duties / Responsibilities

distributes material and tools in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
* }- z5 f8 Y" M• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.

• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
. q% f, s: t; v) N• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users. 9 P* v1 E) M( c# x, I6 B
• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods. 6 ~5 R5 C4 f4 S; M" X9 L. S
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
% B0 O s6 O4 } L. a5 N+ j! B• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.4 ^. ]9 W2 j! A( d5 X( s n' O
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system. 0 T0 m# H5 X% q( B+ W. B3 X! F/ r" T
• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
7 G( c6 N3 s* i- H' ]7 p• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
6 u& x7 y% z' C( O* T• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.3 Q2 p: w. q. y) y
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.) D- X- n' X' E; e- F$ t) F- U9 E9 i
• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.' _5 Z: u4 U% V5 u9 u' p' l- E
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.0 W* P7 g( M* Q
• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for O6 s. X. j1 ~
resolution.& v0 m/ {# q0 ?* ~) y! F5 k- v4 V$ S
• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.' ?0 }0 p" Y( a
• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.$ \9 S5 q2 p% ?: h3 b& U Z
• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
" s1 W: c8 h6 v/ ?• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
5 U8 o( k4 X( S6 ~; Z% C• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
/ J" J# V- z# q& c6 V6 K- n• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner 4 u7 v4 M% L4 B8 G
• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
4 {! F6 E7 K! V& r# F9 F3 L, ~• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
V& r# H v, j& C3 a• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
* h I+ W6 o5 M: z. B3 S• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
# j5 w4 Y g& I j• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned. ( M& ~% F# e. [7 N2 R R
• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
' ^. q. f- N, h, Z/ r/ V; f7 t• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.

5 r1 R1 r" R& v% u3 N4 WEducation / Experience! J" @5 r% n2 Y" b" }! ?& x" S
• Grade 12 / GED.
; \% Q5 m( m3 p" p2 l3 g• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel. . a7 g7 N$ {; T1 @ f
• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
& v# N4 K+ q5 x& j+ v/ B* a• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset. $ f3 v- {2 @8 ]. W/ z' s. w+ I
• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
% a+ N3 c' U) g, q p4 d5 d• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
5 ~, U) K3 \9 Q) v/ Z8 G# b• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry. |
