EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

6 l/ ^; h% C) EPolice say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.: U9 j% F$ U% J( x0 T5 W

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

) V; r1 R/ Q8 Q; G( D% oPolice say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.
