Police arrest two men after complaint of smelly truck carrying 1,500 pot plants- `9 Q' C9 k2 C! t
* T6 `! Y( k9 e* Q# Z3 }! lEDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.

9 x/ N8 c% Z$ X& DPolice say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.+ V3 K4 s) f0 X M6 S
( n h; D% v0 j4 Q6 z: C2 Q# C: ` ~Roughly 400 kilograms of pot was taken from the vehicle and the driver and a passenger were arrested without incident.
