+ h4 v2 f* D: P; o2 f2 \1 vCHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. CFCA’s projects and programming are funded by private donors, government grants, foundations, fundraising events, and campaigns.

Key administrative duties:

• Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public.* P7 ?1 o: d% g' C8 x

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.

• Meet weekly with Program Managers to define priorities.

• Manage all CFCA administrative communications such as liaising with financial institutions, service providers etc. related to administrative management.

• Support the promotion of CFCA events in Alberta through online and print publicity resources.

• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.. U# I) ~3 r1 ^9 J2 V- P

" c: ]; j% ?& s3 P) y• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.* C0 O8 P# z/ S$ ]
; j; y2 j7 t9 _& N4 K4 O8 u• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.

Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.8 D/ [; Z; O5 S" ?! }+ q0 A
