CHANGE FOR CHILDREN ASSOCIATION (CFCA) is an Alberta-based, charity with 33 years of experience working for sustainable, community development in Latin America and Africa and providing a comprehensive global education program in Canada. CFCA is lead by a volunteer Board of Directors and a small, flat-structured core staff which includes: International Projects Program Manager, Education/Public Engagement Program Manager and Funds Development Program Manager. • Act as first point of contact for donors, partners, members, other stakeholders, and the general public., a7 O1 l, |' u" D% @" i

• Complete data entry in various programs.

( F* G! Z: I. O5 t# Y' ]3 R• Maintain an organized filing system for office records, meeting minutes, government registrations and donor records; Process annual government and charitable registrations forms.

• Order and organize office supplies; Manage and maintain office systems and environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.8 l8 G- y9 n1 b( C

• Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance.2 a4 B8 a, t* \3 w
; j# |* a5 z/ j• Maintain organizational calendar of events, meeting coordination and up to date membership lists of committees and groups.5 o, w0 c2 f5 b. r) b

• Support effective internal communication by recording and distributing all meeting minutes.6 `( Q5 E3 D6 l* t

• Support the management of requests for CFCA information and resources at public events.

• Manage database and support distribution of print publications.

+ E. q$ C3 F) @7 r( q6 K; F/ o9 G• Weekly out-of-office errands as required (get cheques signed by Board members, drop off grant applications, and pick up office supplies). These errands will require personal transport.- {5 I5 J; u9 O% O, x, Q

• Provide logistical support for key fundraising events such as silent auctions

3 j, m: F D# l: O- ?* c4 a• In conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor database and ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts.' d2 S0 q" K- P
( }" @7 a6 @! y3 H0 g( Q• Coordinate volunteers for some fundraising events such as Casino and annual sales events.- d2 R" J4 B; m& @' w3 \* b- Q

/ W g4 I- |( s2 Z" E+ `7 Z, NSkills and Qualifications: Education or work experience in office administration and experience with non-profit organizations an asset. Excellent communication and administrative skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; strong administrative and computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook or Outlook Express; Willingness to train on other relevant software; Very strong teamwork and time-management skills; commitment to social justice and sustainable community development.$ [3 Z8 I% A/ Y) p& d
